"I had an extremely frustrating experience with this agency because they gave me a complete runaround and refused to explain why my quote was so high, repeating over and over that it was based on my credit score even though New York Insurance Law §2802 prohibits using credit information to raise auto insurance premiums. When I asked to speak with a manager, she still couldn’t give me any reasoning or breakdown, unlike other companies that clearly explain if a rate is higher due to a ticket or something specific. My rates have been increasing for almost ten years with no explanation, and even after moving to a safer neighborhood they tried to say that could make my rate higher too. They also told me they could offer me a quote for $1500 a month, and as soon as I questioned it they sent me a declination letter. The lack of transparency, misinformation, and refusal to provide a lawful explanation was unacceptable. Let’s not forget, they emailed me!! What a scam. Reporting them to the BBB!!!"
